We hope those of you in the US had a joyous Thanksgiving and that your Week of Prayer started well and is continuing as such. Thank you for your generous gift! Your giving will enable us to stay on the field and continue sharing the Good News with those who need to hear.

I came across a favorite article of mine that Keith Green wrote. I hope you will take it to heart.

I picked up my new passport and was pleasantly surprised to see the computer generated photo and various hologram effects that will make counterfeiting more difficult. I'll be sure to keep this one out of the washing machine for the next ten years (ha, ha).

Since we always need "one more" person to pray for us, please feel free to recommend the 'Wednesday Weekly' to other like-minded intercessors in your circle of friends. Invite them either to send an e-mail to subscribe at our website.

I'm glad to have you with us. Have an awesome week! May God find us listening more attentively to His voice this week as I am,

Yours because His,

Scott

+ You prayed that my ongoing saga with ordering computer equipment would come to an end last week and that the overdue equipment would be made ready so I could help meet a co-worker's computer needs... after numerous calls and visits the equipment never arrived; consequently, my colleague may go another route (no pun intended). Your prayers kept me from, um, acting ugly. Thanks : -)

+ You asked God to keep us safe and healthy as we traveled to a Thanksgiving gathering... did He ever! Thank you for being so faithful to pray!

+ Jasmine turned 4.5 on Sunday, and we planned a special day, so you asked God to continue working on her heart as He draws her to Himself... her monthly trip to Burger King saw a balloon and a crown along with a "comb my hair" salon doll. She enjoyed the "half cake" she and her mom baked the day before, so thank you for praying. She knows she is special and that "the day you're born" is a special day to remember. One day she will remember the day she's born again : -)

+ Shirin celebrated her 19th anniversary of walking with Jesus on Monday, so you prayed that her day would honor Him... we tried taking a like-minded co-worker into Jericho but were turned away. I believe her willingness to give up her afternoon was honoring to the One Who gives us time.

+ Our time to visit the US will be upon us within six months, so the time to coordinate pictures and 'our story' in PowerPoint will need some time. You asked God to grant me the necessary patience to start this project... well, I'm getting things "lined up," but I have yet to begin. Thanks for praying with me this far.

+ You began praying with Shirin over a Christmas party for women and children who have made some step toward believing in Jesus. She and others are asking for opportunities for the women and children to make a true commitment to Jesus as Lord and Savior of their lives... please continue to pray with us for the preparations for the party which will be next Thursday.

<>< Flu season! Wabbit season! Rain will be with us most of this week, so pray that ye ol' flu bug stays a safe distance away.

<>< Please pray for new believers who might be the only one in their family (or even the only believer in their village) as we celebrate the birth of our Savior. Pray with us that these believers will be strengthened in their faith and that God will draw them closer then ever to Him this season.

<>< This weekend we get to bless an expecting couple, so pray with us that our travels would be safe and that our time together would be edifying.

>< Pray for the Jordanian Arabs.>

26, Jasmine’s ongoing safety

* She got out of our sight today but knew the consequences as soon as our eyes met. She has learned that we mean what we say and we do what we say we'll do. She keeps testing, and we keep passing. I guess it's better now than later.

27, open to God’s appointments

* Prior to a wonderful group meal I was able to assist a co-worker with computer needs and did so after dinner. His timing is marvelous.

28, Arabic language progress

* I find myself talking to myself in Arabic, so am I making progress?

29, more people to hear God’s word

* Continue praying!

30, Jasmine is 4-and-a-half

* She had a delightful day! Thank you for praying for her.

1, Shirin celebrates 19 yrs with Jesus!

* She enjoyed the trip to Jericho even if it didn't turn out like we expected.

2, Week of Prayer for International work

* Thank you for praying so fervently!
