I happened across this article one day and thought you'd enjoy it. Back in the mid-80's there was a book entitled "Turmoil in the Toybox," somewhat similar to the above article. I saw this link related to 9/11 and thought it was great! I hope you do, too. + <L A S T W E E K>< ++ A co-worker wrote, "Prayer request for (last Wednesday). I will be crossing the bridge by myself tomorrow between 9 and 12. Please pray first that I will be allowed in and second that will get a full three month visa. I really only need two months and 5 days, but a full three months would be nice. I am using VIP so I hope it will be a little easier, but ......" * All went well thanks to your fervent intercession. + Last Tuesday morning we received a phone call from the visa people (surprise, surprise). There was a question about a certain village with another promise to call back. Will we receive a visa before I'm due to travel for a prayer conference? It may be an "11th hour" green light, so I'll know by next week... I'm staying put : -) + As we lived in this suspense, you asked God to grant His peace of mind... it was somewhat tumultuous, but we lived through it. + Shirin met with a lady last Wednesday to discuss different ways to tell other women about His love. You prayed for a clear vision and like-mindedness on how to reach women... On Monday the lady and Shirin met together to discuss opportunities to serve other women. Then they had a great time of prayer. They are scheduled to pray together again early next week. It is so wonderful to hear how women are coming to the Lord and praying for women who have yet to hear! + Earlier Shirin asked prayer for a children's club in Bethany, so you continued to pray as they prepared for the start of this activity to begin in a few weeks... Thank you for praying! It seems that the first meeting will include a puppet show and a craft time.
<T H I S W E E K><<>< Ask God to work through the International Prayer Center of Jerusalem (IPCJ) this week. <>< Jasmine will be visiting the doctor today after beginning a bout of congestion (?). It looks like her first two weeks of preschool was an incubation period for something. Ask God to bring healing. <>< Pray that those gathered for a prayer conference would be encouraged in their efforts to solicit prayer advocacy.
