Our ever reliable A30 ThinkPad started making scary noises this week, and I had no reliable method to make an image of the drive since I couldn't install Partition Magic to make another partition where I could store the C: image to put on CD.

On more important matters, I found a young man whose story you need to hear so you can pray more specifically for him. Be sure to visit this site for more information.

Tuesday I went into a store looking for a computer desk. Not knowing Hebrew, I asked the clerk in English if they had any in stock. Well, he didn't speak English, so he called to an associate of his who knew English, but he called for him in Arabic! I said, "Inta ba-teh-key @ra-bee?" ("Do you speak Arabic?") Well, from then on, we were the best of friends *and* he gave me 1st class treatment with the purchase! (The story goes on, but I'm sure you know what we wound up talking about <g>.)

Since we always need "one more" person to pray for us, please feel free to recommend the 'Wednesday Weekly' to other like-minded intercessors in your circle of friends. Invite them either to send an e-mail or to subscribe at our website.

I'm glad to have you with us. Have an awesome week! May God find us listening more attentively to His voice this week as I am,

Yours because His,

Scott

+ You prayed that Jasmine would have another great "Burger King Day" on the 30th as she turned 50 months (4y 2m)... she had a *wonderful* day, especially as she found a Barbie backpack for school. Thank you for praying!

+ You asked God to grant the safe, uneventful arrival of two volunteers... (their flight was delayed until 6am Wednesday, so pardon the tardiness of this issue) They arrived safely with only a carry-on bag, so pray for their luggage to arrive soon. They've encountered this before, so they packed well.

+ You prayed that the necessary, required information for a visa extension would be received last week so that we could take the next step to securing a long overdue visa... well, word has it that the information is "on its way," so we'll see.

+ You asked God to bring together the people who could lay out the financial steps for the development of the International Prayer Center of Jerusalem (IPCJ)... I was able to sit with someone who helped me come up with part of a $67,000 start up budget for the IPCJ. I only hope I have not underestimated the Father's desire to give us what He wants us to have.

+ You joined us in asking God to remove financial 'red tape' holding up the progress of the Prayer Garden... an e-mail from a co-worker with "administrative pull" seems to have removed the red tape we've been experiencing!

+ You prayed with us that our Sep/Oct "Wednesday Weekly" newsletter would be finished and in the mail by today... thank you for praying! Monday night saw it finished : -)

+ You asked God to grant me the ability to focus on the accomplishment of preparations for the September meeting where I'll be sharing the purpose/progress/potential of the IPCJ... (sigh) Let's pray over that this week, too!

<T H I S  W E E K><

<>< Ask God to use "Paul and Marie" to enhance the work of the IPCJ as they search out what God is doing among the nations.

<>< Continue praying that the necessary, required information for a visa extension would be received soon so that we could take the next step to securing a long overdue visa.

<>< Continue asking God to remove financial 'red tape' holding up the progress of the Prayer Garden.

<>< Ask God to grant me the ability to focus on the accomplishment of preparations for the September meeting where I'll be sharing the purpose/progress/potential of the IPCJ.

<>< Pray again that a co-worker and I would be able to have a day of "computer success" as we work on and transfer files.

>< Pray for the She people of China. >
