So he's back on TV and may not have been killed as originally thought, and that's a good thing; otherwise, we know what would have become of his eternal destiny, forever away from the mercy of God. So guess what? We have been given another opportunity to pray for his salvation and for the salvation of those around him. This is what it's all about, isn't it? Shall we take on the same fervency in praying for his salvation as we pray for the man at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue, equally worthy of the cries of God's people? What would Jesus do? + <L A S T W E E K>< ++ You prayed that warm weather would allow Scott to return to half-hour morning walks... the closest he got was a six-hour hike through the Judean Wilderness Saturday : -( A new habit needs to begin. + Jasmine's play group will miss several days this month due to holidays, so you asked God to help us find alternatives for her energy... Jasmine has found a few new friends, and we believe they have "shown up" as a result of your prayers. Thank you : -) + You continued praying for Shirin as she sharpens her language skills each week... she has made contact with some ladies in the Old City who are willing to help her practice her Arabic and thanks you for your prayers. + The Mother's Day breakfast was this past Saturday, and you prayed with us that the ladies would have a life changing experience and express an interest in starting a Christian parenting class... The breakfast was a big hit with the ladies. There were over 50 ladies present who heard a clear gospel message. One of the most touching things that came at the beginning and end of the breakfast were video clips of husbands expressing appreciation to their wives. Thank you for your prayers. Next month, plans are under way to start a Christian parenting class, so please continue to pray for the participants and the leaders of this class! + The weather has warmed up, and now more children are outside. Jasmine has been making new friends in the neighborhood, and you prayed that Jasmine and Shirin could share the Good News with the new friends. You also prayed for Jasmine's safety physically and emotionally since she doesn't always understand what her friends are saying and doing...Thank you for your prayers. We could tell that Jasmine has been much better at handling annoying behavior by the neighborhood boys this week.
<T H I S W E E K><<>< Ask God to bring closure to the launching of the Prayer Center's web site. I have never felt so much troubling disturbance from something that's supposed to be "simple." <>< "Joe" and I are going to do some spring cleaning in the Prayer Garden Friday and could use prayers for safety since you never know what may happen. <>< Pray, too, that we would get a clearer vision from God about what He wants in the Garden. <>< Scott's been having a tough time during worship and could use a "boost," if you know what we mean. On more than one occasion he wonders if sin has crept in unaware to steal the "joy of His salvation" and wants to bring it to the Light.

We want to keep our ears to His voice when he says "Follow Me" because we want to be in the right place. 3, Ask God to show us where He’s at work.* He's at work in Jasmine's life. We sat in on her Passover Meal Party for playgroup and heard her recite the Passover story as one of her teachers told the group. Wow, is she listening! 4, no attacks at all* As far as I could tell, there were none : -) 5, good working relationships* I had an opportunity to go on a hike with two co-workers where we were able to share time together. 6, May Jasmine learn of Jesus.* Today was a trying day, so I hope she could see His patience reflected in my attitude. 7, Ask for improved online connections.* One of the first things I saw today was 'This Page Cannot Be Displayed' I knew you'd be praying soon as things improved! What would we do without your intercession? 8, May God use Jasmine to share with local children* She played with them today but walked home when they began taunting her. "Jesus told me to leave them, Daddy," she told me. "I didn't want to yell like they were."
