I ran across a few reminders this week that I thought I'd share two of them with you in case your computer may, uh, fall victim to recent stuff. First, Steve Gibson has a great site that promises to help you know how secure your computer can be. Be sure to visit "Shields Up." Finally, Fred Langa has some great online information to help you sort out all the confusion related to computers.

Did you hear about the Time Magazine article, "Should Christians Convert Muslims?" Be sure to read the responses.

Since we always need "one more" person to pray for us, please feel free to recommend the 'Wednesday Weekly' to other like-minded intercessors in your circle of friends. Invite them either to send an e-mail or to subscribe at our website.

+ You continued asking God to give Jasmine a deep peace and excitement about going to preschool. She had been expressing the feelings of "I had a great day, but I don't wanna go back tomorrow."... oh, how your prayers made a difference! Thank you for standing in the gap on her behalf : -)

+ A few years ago we received VHS tapes of "The Animated Stories from the New Testament" put out by the Family Entertainment Network. They're well used and on their last leg, so we'd like to get them on DVD; unfortunately, this site sells them for $569.05 plus s/h. We believed that someone in the Wednesday Weekly Wintercessor family had 'inside' connections to help us find this DVD series at a lower price... the single response (thanks DK!) came up empty. Guess it's time to start setting aside a little extra <g>.

+ You prayed that the work with the cistern repair would fall into God's hands from start to finish... hmm, there's more of the "wait on the Lord" with the cistern.

+ You joined me in giving thanks to God for having a week of relatively few computer challenges... and then our e-mail server caused havoc for co-workers - no rest for the weary, eh?

+ Several friends were having birthdays or anniversaries last week, so you prayed that our e-mail system would stay functional in order for us to communicate our well wishes... it's always good to have a backup :*-)

<>< A co-worker writes, "Prayer request for tomorrow. I will be crossing the bridge by myself tomorrow between 9 and 12. Please pray first that I will be allowed in and second that will get a full three month visa. I really only need two months and 5 days, but a full three months would be nice. I am using VIP so I hope it will be a little easier, but ......"

<>< Tuesday morning we received a phone call from the visa people (surprise, surprise). There was a question about a certain village with another promise to call back. Will we receive a visa before I'm due to travel for a prayer conference? It may be an "11th hour" green light, so I'll know by next week.

<>< As we live in this suspense, ask God to grant His peace of mind.

<>< Shirin will be meeting with a lady on Wednesday to discuss different ways to tell other women about His love. Please pray for a clear vision and like-mindedness on how to reach women.

<>< Earlier Shirin asked prayer for a childrens club in Bethany. Please continue to pray as they prepare for the start of this activity to begin in a few weeks.

* Several soldiers died today as a result of an attack. I know what happens to people who die without a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, so I pray that those soldiers were given a chance to hear the gospel and respond positively; otherwise, ...
