It's that time of year when the change in seasons brings on various maladies and drains energy; hopefully, if it has to happen full-force, it won't hit all three of us at once.

Soon And Very Soon by Andrae Crouch is quickly becoming a favorite song of mine as I am enjoying my radio station.  I think you can do a search for the song either by artist or title. If Shirin is around for my funeral, I've asked her to include that hymn in the worship service along with The Old Rugged Cross and It Is Well With My Soul (no, I'm not feeling that weak <g>).

Shirin stumbled across the website for the orphanage she and Jasmine have been visiting.

+ A minor glitch with the telephone needed your pointed intercession to get it resolved... wow, did it ever! Our landlord was a great help in getting this fixed, and I even learned a new location for a post office in the process! A few days later we tried going into Bethlehem to pay a personal cell phone bill but were turned away in spite of the 'easing of closures.' I guess there's always another day. I sure do appreciate the stamps, envelopes, and check writing of the US :-)

+ You asked God to give me the insight needed to assist a co-worker with computer needs... God does wonderful things. This co-worker and I were equally amazed at the ease of his dilemma being solved so quickly. Thank you : -)

+ My youngest sister reached a quarter of a century last week, so you asked God to make a second birth more and more real... continue praying.

+ Another co-worker prepared for an upcoming Stateside Assignment and could have used your intercession for 'closure' to this term... it seems all is well, so thank you for praying!

+ Jasmine's school is preparing for a Christmas pageant. Jasmine was asked to sing one of the verses of Away in the Manger, and you prayed with us that Jasmine would want to do her best in singing about Jesus and that the pageant would reach the lost parents and children in the school... this past week on two occasions Jasmine's teachers told us how much Jasmine is trying to learn the Arabic songs and how well she sings in practice.

<>< Pray that the coming "winter illnesses" would not catch all three of us at once.

<>< Please pray for Shirin and another co-worker as they go to the orphanage on Monday. One of our previous prayer requests was about how to plan for their Christmas party. On this visit they will talk with the director about how they can help with the party. Shirin and her co-worker were so blessed last time as they prayed with the director of the girls home.
