Last week's Israeli raid in Nablus, in which two top Hamas figures and an Israeli soldier were killed, bore fruit in a recent suicide bombing (sigh). A local paper has the details and repercussions. We really appreciate your intercession and hope this page will express part of our gratitude. We never seem to be amazed at what goes on in the United States, especially the recent confusion over gay marriages. I'm guessing that the church remained silent for too long on topics like this. A recent CNN poll showed 54% of those voting said marriage should only be between a man and a woman. Excuse me? Does that imply that almost half of Americans believe it was "Adam and Steve" in the Garden of Eden? And we wonder why America is in the shape it's in? If you'd like to vote, visit this page. We attended our first Chinese worship service with the help of Paul and Marie. Jasmine was beyond excited to be there and sang like she already knew the words! + <L A S T W E E K>< ++ You asked God to use "Paul and Marie" to enhance the work of the IPCJ as they search out what God is doing among the nations... wow, what an answer to prayer! We now have a working printer and a separate working scanner, the reading area of the Research Center is taking shape, more books are being categorized/organized, morning prayer is going on in the Prayer Garden, and there's more to come! + You continued praying that the necessary, required information for a visa extension would be received soon so that we could take the next step to securing a long overdue visa... one letter came on Thursday, and there's one more to go. And then there's the waiting. + You continued asking God to remove financial 'red tape' holding up the progress of the Prayer Garden... no sooner do we ask than a clear answer comes in the form of an e-mail. Thank you for praying! + You asked God again to grant me the ability to focus on the accomplishment of preparations for the September meeting where I'll be sharing the purpose/progress/potential of the IPCJ... even though I didn't get to that pressing project for the second week in a row, your prayers have *not* been in vain. + You prayed again that a co-worker and I would be able to have a day of "computer success" as we work on and transfer files... whoo-hoo!! It was a great day!
