March comes in like a lion and out like a lamb, or so they say. I came in at 194.2 lbs (88.1kg) and hope to keep making progress toward my personal goal of 183# (83kg). The International Prayer Center of Jerusalem (IPC-J), newly named, is 'officially' in the process of becoming what the Vision Statement says it will be: a place where God’s people change the world through intercessory prayer. We've also been fulfilling part of the Purpose Statement of "bringing glory to God by providing His children the opportunity to worship Him through praying on behalf of the unreached people groups of the world that results in His children changing their corner of His world" as I've been printing out specific prayer needs of the people groups presented in the daily knee-mail of the Global Prayer Digest. I really enjoy the PDA version and hope you will, too! We could tell that a lot of prayer was directed toward the IPC-J on 03-03-03 since that was the day the high-speed modem connected and it was the same day our e-mail address began: ipcj AT bigfoot DOT com Thanks to Glyn R for being the first of several to point out that the June annual meeting has been broadcasting live video online for some time :*-) Also, Darryl M sent a super link for a half-hour message that's great for those of you on broadband (T1, cable, ADSL). I learn a lot from you folks! Thanks! + <L A S T W E E K>< ++ It seemed that a much-put-off annual, er, semi-annual trip to the dentist was in need of scheduling as Scott had reaped what he had sown and only asked for mercy... God granted mercy, and I thank you for praying. I'll still schedule that appointment. + Last Wednesday was supposed to have been the day the ADSL modem stopped blinking, and you prayed with us that the phone company would do what they said they would do... Sunday afternoon was when a telephone worker brought a replacement modem to 'stop' the blinking. The next day at about 630am EST "Dan" went online faster than ever. The next step is to harness that speed over to the next building. Step by step + Finally, you prayed for Jasmine as she was three months away from four last week. Her birthday is May 30, 1999. You asked God to grant her the abilities a soon-to-be four-year-old needs... she has done several things this week for the first time, so I can tell how your prayers made such a difference. Thank you!
