Congratulations to the newest Wednesday Weekly Wintercessors, Jim W and Mary M. Their focused intercession gives our Contacts/Address Book a 30% participation level. More importantly, however, they bring what we need most: regular prayer to see the nations of the world come to forgiveness. "That's what it's all about." Since we always need "one more" person to pray for us, please feel free to recommend the 'Wednesday Weekly' to other like-minded intercessors in your circle of friends. Speaking of prayer, someone suggested an 'open forum' where Wednesday Weekly Wintercessors can post prayer needs. I have started a separate listing for those needs, aptly named 'pray with me.' If you haven't responded to that invitation, feel free to send an e-mail to praywithme-subscribe@topica.com I noticed a quick drop in subscribers and realized I had not mentioned that there were several ways to view these prayer needs. Any prayer need you send to your prayer family at praywithme@topica.com will go to all subscribers. Unless you change your option of how to view these prayer needs, each prayer need posted will go to your Inbox. To change how you view these, log in to your Topica account, scroll down to 'Personal Options,' click on 'Email Address and Delivery,' and then select how to view these prayer needs. The 'praywithme@topica.com' list will be separate from the 'Wednesday Weekly' list. Only subscribed members of the 'Wednesday Weekly' list are eligible to participate in the 'praywithme' list, so the prayer needs you post to 'praywithme@topica.com' will go to a 'private forum' within a forum, if you will. Earlier in the week I saw a lecture series held at a local university, but I was able to see it online! This was a first for me since I don't get out much, but it left me wondering if there are any SBC groups that broadcast live video-streaming over the Internet? If you know of any, or if you know someone who would, I'd be quite interested. Imagine what this could do for the annual meeting in June? + <L A S T W E E K>< ++ You prayed with us about Jasmine's schooling as we looked at a local school for next year and needed peace and assurance that this would be the right school for her... Due to some unexpected scheduling conflicts we have not gone to the school yet. We are planning to go on Thursday, so please continue to pray with us. + I mentioned that the 'prayer center' was getting closer to the high-speed Internet access necessary to provide visiting intercessors with access to people group information and how your prayers last week to make it happen would be appreciated... the ADSL modem is still blinking, but we seem to have 'another way' to contact the phone company to have it fixed (?) + Finally, I asked for specific intercession over sundry computer glitches I was experiencing, and I pointed you to a detailed list at http://help.lockergnome.com/ where you would see a 'gsterry' in need here and yon... Jasmine can now watch her 'Peter Rabbit and Friends' DVDs on her mom's desktop thanks to the acquisition of PowerDVD, an excellent piece of software found at this link.

Her birthday is May 30, 1999. Ask God to grant her the abilities a soon-to-be four-year-old needs.

Thank you : -) 21, computer ‘health’* Thanks to your focused intercession, today was a good day : -) We are, however, experiencing high-speed modem challenges due to an inept telephone company. Monday the 17th the phone guy said the modem would stop flashing by 130pm, and we thought he meant the same day; prayerfully, by the time you receive this, all will be well (?) 22, believers to be encouraged* We were reminded of the Focus of the Bible and took delight in knowing "He is for us." 23, A worshipful experience* I wish you could hear Jasmine sing songs about Jesus. She makes up some of the prettiest songs I've ever heard. 24, Shirin’s mom to become His follower* If it can snow in Jerusalem, Shirin's mom can become His follower! Pray it to be so. 25, Jasmine’s “witness” to the children* It's a delight to read bedtime Bible stories to Jasmine. One night we reviewed her story book from the beginning, and I was amazed at the recall she has. Her friends sing with her when she launches into made-up songs about Jesus.
