A belated Happy 4th to our American friends. Someone shared a link to help us remember.

Our vacation was enjoyable, and I'm looking forward to uploading pictures of the life-size replica of the tabernacle.

Since we always need "one more" person to pray for us, please feel free to recommend the 'Wednesday Weekly' to other like-minded intercessors in your circle of friends. Invite them either to send an e-mail or to subscribe at our website.

I'm glad to have you with us. Have an awesome week! May God find us listening more attentively to His voice this week as I am,

Yours because His,

Scott

+ You asked that we return from a few days away relaxed and refreshed... despite coming home to 39 unanswered e-mails, we still managed to come home relaxed and refreshed and thank you for praying over us during those days. We were home for about 3 hours when the electricity went out, a signal that life was back to normal.

+ You prayed that the promised work crew would show up to begin clearing away the wood, hay, and stubble from the Prayer Garden... Jasmine was the first to help Monday as I penciled in rocks, trees, and lamp posts to the design. The work crew is due today (?)

+ You joined me in praying that the computer parts will continue to fit together... I'm still tinkering with those items and feel close to finishing one complete computer; however, the XP upgrade attempt didn't go so hot. The donated computer has WinMe, and I'd like to do a fresh install. Any advice on what I could do differently?

+ You prayed with me that I could secure new web space for our family's web sites... Jasmine's page is up and running, and I hope to get the Wednesday Weekly moved to a new site. Any suggestions for a URL, web site address?

<>< Pray again that the promised work crew will show up to begin clearing away the wood, hay, and stubble from the Prayer Garden.

<>< A co-worker and I are probably at the visa office as you read this, so pray that our visas will be granted.

<>< Another co-worker and I will try to secure travel documents for an upcoming fall meeting and ask that you pray for all 'hoops' to be jumped through.

<>< Sunday ~midnight on the east coast will be when a few co-workers and possibly myself will have an appointment to secure visas, so pray with us that God will grant them.

<>< Prayerwalking teams are preparing to come during the "days of Awe" (Jewish holy days) and during the Muslim holy month of Ramadan. Please pray for the teams as they prepare to come and for God to direct us in where and how to pray for the two people groups.

<>< Pray for two volunteers who will be coming next week to work in the Prayer Center.

<>< Rejoice with us that the shared Internet connection in the research center of the International Prayer Center of Jerusalem is getting closer to actuality!

< Pray for the Qiang of China. ><

CALENDAR UPDATES

<If you're not receiving our bimonthly snail-mail newsletter, let us know so we can send it to you!><

2, a full day of electricity

* We left for vacation and, yes, enjoyed a full day of air conditioning upon our arrival : -)

3, spiritual freedom for Palestinians

* We didn't see a single Palestinian in the port city of Eilat and remembered their need to know Jesus.

4, Muslims to meet Jesus while at the mosque

* I don't recall seeing a mosque either, but the call to pray for Muslims rings on.

5, Jewish settlers to know Jesus

* On the drive back home we saw settlement after settlement along the Negev, and I wondered who would share Jesus with them.

6, a new church to meet for worship

* We heard of a few new groups meeting in a country that's been in the headlines lately, and that was encouraging!

7, safe arrival of packages/mail

* We may find out tomorrow ;-)

8, Thank God for utilities!

* Today was a great day with fans circulating cool air! And, yes, the mail arrived safely. Thank you for praying it through!
