It seems last week's issue went out too quick!

I missed the opportunity to enlist your timely prayer support for the new Prime Minister you read about, especially with the ensuing demonstration of disapproval. The new PM has a tough row to hoe and needs a great deal of prayer for wisdom and the ability to carry out his duties. You know that I avoid 'politics' in its purest form; however, this new phase toward the 'road map' could have a direct impact on our lives and ministry. Add to that the seeming 'ingratitude' of a recently 'liberated' people group, and there could be difficulty in local relationships. I'll trust your intercession in this manner, especially as you keep the "Romans Road" as the real map for peace between these two people groups. Thanks : -)

Let me add one more article related to the above before mentioning that it seems that the other parts of the Church have forgotten about the Great Commission!

Last week I mentioned an opportunity to undergird the ministry of the International Prayer Center of Jerusalem. An article I read recently gives me an opportunity to thank you for your faithful weekly tithe! Please continue!

Since we always need "one more" person to pray for us, please feel free to recommend the 'Wednesday Weekly' to other like-minded intercessors in your circle of friends. Invite them either to send an e-mail or to subscribe at our website.

I'm glad to have you with us. Have an awesome week! May God find us listening more attentively to His voice this week as I am,

Yours because His,

Scott

+ You joined us in giving thanks for the special "budget allocation" number for the International Prayer Center of Jerusalem (IPCJ), a special project on the Lottie Moon Database.

+ Following that, you prayed that we would get the IPCJ posted to that web site where folks can give to specific aspects of the Prayer Center... hmm, this one may need 'feet' to it, so keep praying.

+ You prayed that I would be able to offer assistance to co-workers in need of computer help... what a great feeling it was to figure out how to get a co-worker's ADSL modem to connect to a high-speed connection!

+ You asked God to bless Jasmine's "Jonah" movie night with close friends... oh, how I wish you could have seen her dance to "The God of Second Chances." During her bedtime routine she said, "I had a great day." Thank you for making it as such!

+ You prayed that a "network diagram" will be put together soon so we can plan for the future of the International Prayer Center of Jerusalem (IPCJ)... your prayers were answered Thursday as "Joe" and I walked around the Prayer Center discussing the best way to run Ethernet cable from a single router in a small building to the larger building. We're looking forward to introducing it to you when you come to the Prayer Center on your next visit. It may be more fun than going to Masada <g>.

+ You joined us in praying for a possible volunteer who will be able to make a difference in the life of the IPCJ... we're looking forward to his arrival by month's end!

+ You asked God to raise up a volunteer who could give the Prayer Center's web page a good overhaul... we had some inquiry, so we'll see what is produced in the next ten days.

<>< We're looking forward to getting in contact with tour hosts to let them know of the International Prayer Center of Jerusalem so they can offer it as an 'option' to tourists. Pray with us that we would 'stumble' across a list of such key people.

<>< Pray that the Message of Hope will ring loud and clear as we share with neighbors.

<>< Ask God to be glorified in an upcoming gathering of the church with whom we worship.

<>< Another round of Arabic classes will begin for Scott next week, so pray that his mind will be receptive and refreshed.

<>< A "changing-of-the-guard" type meeting will take place Monday, so join us in asking God for clear communication over roles and expectations for all involved.

<>< Join us in praying for a united vision of the Prayer Center and what it will take to reach it as a few of us gather Tuesday.

<>< Scott and Jasmine have had nagging coughs for the past several days and would greatly appreciate a Divine touch.

< Pray for the Bouyei of Southwest China. ><

Nice Comments from you...

"Scott,

Ask God to raise up a volunteer who could give the Prayer Center's web page a good overhaul!

What is the web address?

In Him!

"Dear Scott: Received the 'Weekly'; thanks. Yes, it is tragic that many of the unrealistic, brutal traditions will likely continue. Our prayers continue to go up for the salvation of these people, for the efforts of IMB, and particularly for you, Shirin and Jasmine. Peace, my brother; God be with you.

"Hello Scott and Shirin,

Good to hear you are all doing so well in all ways; Praise God! The picture of the three of you and Jasmine and her party friends were great pictures and the girls are cute.

Thank you for the weekly updates! I am praying for the things you put in your updates.

My prayer request is for my cousin, Alain, who is in an alcohol rehabilitation clinic in Belgium. Last I have heard, he is doing better; under the doctor's medications, and being counseled by a counselor that he likes, so it seems to be sticking, this therapy. The alcohol has apparently damaged his liver and caused him brain damage. He is not well-educated to begin with; doesn't like to read; doesn't like to work; has no hobbies, no interests; smokes like a chimney, has a part-time job, has a 10 year-old son, but he never married the girlfriend.

So please pray for him that he will straighten out and search for the better life that Jesus has for him. I can write in French and I will send him a card with His simple message, and that I have prayed for him as well as my friends at Church.

Thank you for praying.

Nadine"

"Scott,

I am not a graphic artist, but I can design websites. Here is the one for my company.

I didn't draw the graphics, but I did all the rest.

Let me know if I can help.

Thanks

"I was very touched by your newsletter and the article about funding. I am elated that we have so many workers that are willing to go into God's work and pray for all of us to give more. The sacrifices are great for , however, I've never known anyone that didn't say that they don't count the cost --just the rewards of working for our Lord. I always get a new slant on things from you in reference to praying for different needs --I appreciate that. You help to keep me focused on a perfect God.

Love to you and yours. In His Name, Sue"

"I'm a praying fer ya. Life here is going great. I wish it were that way all over the world. Keep up the good work, and maybe someday (sooner than we think) it will be. God's and my love to you all. Stay safe. Lorita"
