Thank you for your concern over our situation. Rest assured that we and our leadership have thought through, prayed through, and are prepared for this crisis situation. Your prayers for "good working relationships" continue to bear fruit.

Some of you asked if I knew the college student who was killed by an Israeli bulldozer. No, I didn't know her, but her story is enlightening.

As you can tell, I'm relatively new at making web sites. The only experience/instruction I've had is from Microsoft FrontPage 2000. I'm updating the Wednesday Weekly web site on a laptop with a 1400x1050 resolution; consequently, the web site looks like that as well. Someone asked how I could get the pages to fit their screen, but I'm beyond clueless as to how to fix it (although I have tried)! I checked the site on Shirin and Jasmine's 800x600 desktop and, yowza, that is a big page! I am most certain that there is a Wednesday Weekly Wintercessor who can fill me in on how to fix this ;-)

Since we always need "one more" person to pray for us, please feel free to recommend the 'Wednesday Weekly' to other like-minded intercessors in your circle of friends. Invite them either to send me an email or subscribe at our website.

I'm glad to have you with us. Have an awesome week! May God find us listening more attentively to His voice this week especially as I am,

Yours because His,

Scott

+ You used this article as you sought to share Jesus with friends:

TENNESSEE--Relationship-building => key to their relationship with Christ.

+ You prayed that the new 'blog' page would be a place where prayer concerns could be shared. You were sure to visit https://acts82640.tripod.com/wweekly to post your thoughts as you clicked on the 'comments' section to begin... hmm, not too many folks visited, so I hope you'll stop by this week : -

+ You prayed that the IPCJ would be used of God to bring about global church planting movements... we went online Fri, 14-March and are ready to be His instrument. Thank you for praying us through! Please visit the website of Oswald Chambers, author of "My Utmost for His Highest" to see the connection.

+ As I celebrated my 19th year of walking with Jesus (now half of my life), you asked God to grant a closer, deeper walk where I could continue discipling other new believers... Sunday, 16-March was a sweet day. I posted my initial thoughts on the blog page and later thought of the pre-discipleship going on with Jasmine. She soaks up bedtime Bible stories!

+ I mentioned that we could use an extra dose of travel safety all day last Monday... all went well, and we are grateful. Thank you for making such a difference!

+ Shirin and Jasmine had gone to visit our neighbor who had just given birth to a baby boy, and you joined us in praying that the baby would grow to know God personally. Also, you prayed for safety and easy moving for a family that would be moving into the area... the baby will need ongoing prayer as the couple is unequally yoked. The other family for whom you prayed has moved into the area safely and relatively easy. They are grateful for your prayers.

+ I received an e-mail from a dear friend and was given permission to share it with you... Due to length, I have posted it on this page.

<>< Pray that our neighbors would follow Jesus.

<>< Ask God to make present 'current events' a quick thing of the past.

<>< Pray that the designer of the ceramic tiles we hope to put in the Prayer Garden will provide quality work in these early planning stages.

<>< Ask God to grant me the insights needed to register a "dot.org" name for the Prayer Center and to find an excellent host for the site.

<>< May a Thursday breakfast meeting be used of God for letting others know of the opportunities that exist at the Prayer Center.

<>< May the beginning of spring find me exercising again.

<>< Join me in asking for His guidance in a strategic meeting Monday that will pave the way for the Prayer Center.

<>< Pray with Shirin Saturday as she participates in a church sponsored Mother's Day breakfast. Each lady is to invite a friend that needs to hear God's message. Eventually, the church would like to start a parenting class from the names of the breakfast guests.

<>< Please pray with Shirin on Saturday (Mother's Day here) for all the mothers who have lost children on both sides of this conflict; may they personally know the True Comforter and Giver of eternal life.

>< Pray for the Kurds. >

CALENDAR UPDATES

<If you're not receiving our bimonthly snail-mail newsletter, let us know so we can send it to you!><

12, Pray that we be His faithful followers.

* Some days are tougher than others, but it's His call that keeps us here.

13, Join us in asking for our 2nd child.

* Recent medical exams indicate that all should be ready. Thank you for praying!

14, May Jasmine learn of Jesus.

* What a day this was :-)

We walked through the Garden Tomb where Jasmine saw the place of the skull. I was once again able to share the story of the crucifixion/resurrection. She filled in a few parts I 'skipped over' and was ready to see the place where, as she put it, "Jesus rose from the dead" (Ro 10:9, 10) I cannot begin to share with you the sheer joy I experienced today, not to mention the privilege of being able to walk to the Garden Tomb on practically any given day. Thank you.

15, Ask God to draw Jews to Himself.

* The Jewish couple threatening self-detonation in Bethlehem's Church of the Nativity surrendered today. Continue praying for them.

16, believers to be encouraged

* How I wish you could have seen the faces of those at worship tonight when some visitors told them how their home groups were remembering them in prayer.

17, CPM vision for leaders

* The end of all we do is to see church planting movements take place. Everything else is a distraction.

18, Travel safety

* Yesterday was a 'published' day for travel safety, but those of you using the snail mail newsletter calendar prayed for it today as well. Part of our travels today included a trip for fruit. Jasmine and I went near the Old City to buy strawberries, bananas, and oranges and encountered a sudden wind storm followed by rain. We stopped in front of Calvary to wait out the storm, and I had another opportunity to tell her what happened there long ago. I pointed out all the people walking people oblivious to the fact and how someone needed to tell them. You can imagine her response: "Let's go tell them." So we did; unfortunately, the attention of vendors was elsewhere.
