Last week...

(1) You prayed for "Omar" to be convinced of God's existence through dreams, visions, or better yet through the copy of the Arabic Bible he now possesses... I haven't heard this to happen yet, but I have noticed a change in his demeanor.

(2) You asked that last week be the week we finally receive our renewed visas... hmm, not unless government workers call off their strike : -(

(3) You asked God to work through a utility glitch and a monthly computer backup procedure (maybe I should keep that one for my natural birthday <g>)... well, not yet. The utility glitch may take a few more days (?), but the backup procedure went well : -)

(4) As Ramadan began you prayed that a countless number of Muslims would turn to Jesus and that the church would be ready to receive them... wow, is this ever an ongoing prayer need! Perhaps a new type of church is needed for Muslim background believers (?)

This week...

(1) As "Omar" and I spend time together, ask God to draw him to Himself.

(2) Pray that the government strike would end so life would return to 'normal' and that our visas would be issued.

(3) Ask God to use the next set of volunteers to make an eternal difference in the lives of the people here.

(4) As my youngest sister celebrates a birthday this week, ask God to make the reality of her second birth come to life.
