Last week...

(1) Your continued intercession for our visa renewal had been breaking through, and we asked you to keep praying for the renewal to happen... I received additional paperwork Friday and scheduled a return visit for Tuesday which led to the announcement "Come back in a month." Hey, that'll be my birthday! I know something will happen with hundreds/thousands of folks praying for me on that day!

(2) Several new believers wanted to follow Jesus' command but were encountering family and (ahem) 'church' opposition. I said that your prayers would make a difference and asked you to petition the Throne Room of Grace over the people involved in this matter... here's an update I received:

"Dear Friends

Greetings to you from Gaza. We continue to praise the Lord that me and Suhad live in the same home :),

We like to share with you something heavy in our hearts. Last week we have about 10 young people in our church who want to follow the Lord in baptism.Since half of them came from Greek Orthodox background , this church became very upset and they started to distribute an article in the Christian community where they wrote lot of false accusations about our church , about the pastors and about our ministry.., this was very disturbing and painful.

Please ask the Lord to continue to give us the right way how to respond with love , forgiveness and wisdom. We trust that God will use this difficult situation to expand his kingdom for his glory and for our good .

(1) The development of the Global Prayer Center of Jerusalem continues with a primary source of information. Pray with us that we will maintain focus on Jesus' heart of redemption for every tribe, nation, and people group in the world.

(2) Pray that decisions made by the US government will not have adverse effects on Americans living in Jerusalem.

(3) Continue praying for Jasmine's growth and development through play.

* She did this when we lived in Gaza and is still looking for such opportunities. Your pointed intercession will help make a difference!

* This is another ongoing request. Jasmine didn't play with any children today, but her style of singing/worship was certainly enhanced!

27, Akram’s salvation

* I didn't see him today, but I believe your intercession will break down a spirit of resistance.

28, Ask for the local conflict to end.

* (sigh) two years and counting

29, To see a new follower be born today

* Sad to say, I didn't see this happen. How about you!?

30, Jasmine, 40 months

* She attended my Arabic class, and then we enjoyed a day at Burger King : -)
