Last week...

(1) You continued praying that Wendi's cancer would stay away... an email from my folks indicated that Wendi's biopsy was okay : -) Thank you for praying!

(2) You continued praying for our visa renewal... while we haven't received it yet, it does seem we're getting closer : -)

(3) You asked God to use this week's Arabic class to sharpen my mind and provide opportunities to share the Good News... Dan and I are among a dozen students in the class and, wow, are there ever opportunities to share the Good News. I can tell my mind will be sharpened as I start from scratch.

(4) Finally, you prayed that Shirin and Jasmine's time together would be harmonious and mutually beneficial, especially as we looked for suitable play time facilities for Jasmine... things improved slightly even though we haven't found those suitable play time facilities.

This week...

(1) Your intercession for our visa renewal is breaking through - please keep praying for this to happen.

(2) Several new believers want to follow Jesus' command but are encountering family and (ahem) 'church' opposition. Your prayers will make a difference, so petition the Throne Room of Grace over the people involved in this matter.

(3) Continue praying for suitable play time facilities for Jasmine.

18, Ask God to show us where He’s at work.

* I originally wrote this in light of the team meeting we were to attend in Jordan; however, today was my first day of Arabic class. I could see where God was at work and thank you for such faithful intercession : -)

19, May Susie fall in love with Jesus.

* No word yet, so keep asking.

20, Omar’s salvation

* God is at work in his life since he just so happened to stop by today :-)

I had opportunity to give him a video entitled "God's Story: From Creation to Eternity." Pray that he'll watch it within the month he said he would; moreover, pray that God will draw him to Himself!

21, Pray for laborers to share in settlements.

* So far, I know of no one doing this. Please continue to pray for such workers.

22, Christians to have a heart for the lost

* I didn't see this today as much I'd hoped. How about you?

23, Travel safety

* Some folks returned from Jordan safely, and your intercession kept me and two others safe during a protest march.

24, Reliable utilities
