+ Scott was once again encountering "disk error" messages to go along with a few other computer cleanups and could have used some insight on what needed to be done (again). You prayed, too, that he'd not "lose his joy" as these minor annoyances kept flaring up...once again I stand in awe of God :-)

He heard your petitions on my behalf and took care of another of His desktop computers! Not "losing my joy" when it comes to circumstances is a big one for me to work on - so how do you do it?

+ You joined Shirin and her friend with breast cancer in praying that God would clearly reveal the next step in battling the cancer left after the surgery... Shirin writes, "Thank you for your prayers. My friend went back to the doctor to discuss the next step. The doctor recommends more surgery to take out other infected areas and then to start chemo and radiation treatment. My friend shared with the doctor that she wanted to seek a second option and to pray for God's guidance. The doctor is not a follower of Christ. We continue to pray for my friend's health and for her witness to all with whom she comes in contact."

+ Jasmine and Shirin asked for prayer as they planned a Christmas party for the Girls Home to be held on December 22. They want all that is said and done to reflect God's greatest gift to all mankind... They write, "Your prayers are such an encouragement to us. We have started planning for the Christmas party and have some ideas for games, treats and we are thinking about doing a play. Your prayers are needed as we get to planning the details and for the party to be a witness for why Jesus came to earth to save all of us."

<>< Scott asks for "Divine Serenity" as he encounters a week full of opportunities to be about his Father's business.

<>< Join us in praying for preparations as we plan for volunteer groups that will be coming in the spring of next year. We want God to guide us in how and where the groups will be most effective in bringing more people into the Kingdom.

<>< Jasmine seeks prayer in helping her learn German at the Schmidt School she attends.

<* Pray for the Kayastha of India.><
