* Men of peace? Seems like response to papal comments is proof-positive.

* Traveling mercies

* Evangelism-minded churches see growth in baptisms & attendance.

...So about six months ago, the staff began meeting each Wednesday afternoon for an hour to pray specifically for people to come to Christ and to challenge each other to witness more often.

“We don’t talk about anything else, just evangelism and what God is doing and people that we’ve talked to and witnessed to and led to the Lord,” Roberts said. “We started being more intentional about follow-up, which is huge. We have connection cards that we use that have asked about renewing a relationship with Christ or becoming a new Christian.”

As always, I'm glad to have you with us. Have an awesome week! May God find us listening more attentively to His voice this week as I am,

Yours because His,

Scott

+ You prayed for Scott as he focused attention on what the Lord had in store for him...my, is His grace ever so sufficient :-) Thank you for upholding me in prayer this week!

+ Shirin and some co-workers had recently visited the Director of the Lazarus Home for a time of prayer. You joined them in rejoicing in how God had provided and protected the home, and you prayed for the Director's health as she always seems to be on the go and her body is having a hard time keeping up with her...Shirin writes, "Thank you for praying. Right before the Director left for a business trip she mentioned that her health is good, but she needs to be more aware of how she treats herself."

+ You prayed for the scheduling and planning of English lessons in a women's training center...Shirin writes, "Your prayers made a difference. We had an opportunity to strengthen our friendship with the Director. We were also able to nail down our lesson schedule!"

+ Jasmine asked prayer to help her "get things in order for (her) classes." She's doing well and realized the power of intercession to help her do even better...Jasmine says everything went well and thanks you for praying.

<>< As we prepare Jasmine's room to be "mold-free" and work on painting it this week, ask God to use this opportunity to grant those helping to hear the Good news clearly and to respond positively.

<>< Please join Shirin and a co-worker in praying for a woman of peace in the English class that will be starting in two weeks. They will be doing the class during Ramadan (a special spiritual time for Muslims) so ask for wisdom and God's answers to their spiritual questions.

<>< Jasmine says her class is having a hard time paying attention and asks that you'd join her in interceding for them to pay closer attention.

<* Pray for the Mappila of India.><
