Shirin and I will soon be taking Jasmine to school and then I'll be taking transportation for a week long trip to help a co-worker help other co-workers with computer needs; consequently, this Wednesday Weekly will be valid for two weeks <g>. The three of us covet your prayers during this time.

Wow, did I see the impact of your intercession over my computer mishaps! Before I took Jasmine to school I had finished an overnight run of Scandisk and was about ready to try Drive Image. I stopped, not wanting to live with the frustration of another (possible) failed attempt. Well, when I got home, I bit the bullet and, so far, things are working! Thank you once again for changing my life!

Please note:

"Scott we are having a Prayer Conference at our church, Hermitage Hills Baptist on March 10-12. We are asking people all over the world to pray for this conference. Please e-mail all you know and ask them to pray. We are expecting God to do a mighty work, with souls saved and lives changed."

I'm glad to have you with us. Have an awesome week! May God find us listening more attentively to His voice this week as I am,

Yours because His,

Scott

Matthew 24:14

+ With relatively no light at the end of the computer tunnel, Scott asked that he be reminded daily of the end result of fixing these things... thanks in part to your intercession, things improved slightly and, yes, Scott was reminded of the end result of what could happen and will happen!

+ Shirin started going to an exercise gym and asked that you join her in praying for situations to share her faith... Shirin writes, "Thank you for praying with me. I have been able to locate several people that speak Arabic and English at the gym and am still learning the faces of people who come to the gym at the same time I do."

+ Jasmine asked for your intercession that would have allowed her to do well on upcoming evaluations... Jasmine thanks you for praying and says she did fine on her evaluations.

<>< Scott will be gone this week to help a co-worker help other co-workers with computer woes. Pray that his time would be used to the utmost for the Kingdom.

<>< The Lazarus Home for Girls will be celebrating their ninth year anniversary this week. Join Shirin and Jasmine in praying that this year the girls and staff of the home will embrace Christ in their lives.

<>< Jasmine asks again for prayer to help her do well on what she says will be written evaluations in Arabic.

<* Pray for the Teli of India.><

CALENDAR UPDATES

<If you're not receiving our bimonthly snail-mail newsletter, let us know so we can send it to you!><

15, Jasmine as she shares Jesus with friends

* Jasmine enjoys telling her friends about Jesus and wants you to continue praying.

16, Thank God for utilities!

* Propane gas tanks make for a warm winter, and it's good to have working phone liens and electricity.

17, Pray for the girls and staff members at the Lazarus Home to know Jesus as Saviour. Only the Director has a Christian background.

* Shirin writes, "Thank you for praying. We will continue to sow the seed and know God will watch after His Word."

18, Join us in asking God to bring volunteers to become part of the workings of the Prayer Center.

* I was able to get the Middle East computer working to where it shared its printer with the South America computer! Thanks to previous networking volunteers I was able to do in a few hours what I could never do - two machines down, three to go!

19, Ask that our marriage grow sweeter!

* This June will be 19 years and, wow, time has gone by quickly. Your intercession for our relationship is deeply appreciated.

20, Pray for Jasmine to have good concentration at the local Schmidt School and in homeschool.

* Shirin writes, "Thank you for lifting Jasmine up to the Father. She is doing better handling school and her new teeth coming and others wiggling out."

21, Pray for Shirin as she contacts mothers at Jasmine's school.

* Shirin writes, "Your prayers are appreciated. I know God is preparing a mother for me to share with right now."

An honest man was being tailgated by a stressed out woman on a busy boulevard. Suddenly, the light turned yellow, just in front of him.

He did the right thing, stopping at the crosswalk, even though he could have beaten the red light by accelerating through the intersection.

The tailgating woman hit the roof, and the horn, screaming in frustration as she missed her chance to get through the intersection. As she was still in mid-rant, she heard a tap on her window and looked up into the face of a very serious police officer. The officer ordered her to exit her car with her hands up. He took her to the police station where she was searched, finger printed, photographed and placed in a holding cell.

After a couple of hours, a policeman approached the cell and opened the door. She was escorted back to the booking desk where the arresting officer was waiting with her personal effects. He said, "I'm very sorry for this mistake. You see, I pulled up behind your car while you were blowing your horn, flipping off the guy in front of you, and cussing a blue streak at him. "I noticed the 'Choose Life' license plate holder, the 'What Would Jesus Do' bumper sticker, the 'Follow Me to Sunday-School' bumper sticker, and the chrome-plated Christian fish emblem on the trunk. Naturally, I assumed you had stolen the car."
