Our landlord is still lost but seems open to Jesus as long as He fits into Islam (sigh). A wife is his greatest need right now, and he believes she will show him the right way. As you pray for his salvation, ask God to prepare a wife for him who lead him to walk with Jesus!

So how close is this story to the "taking of the number of the beast"?

Walk with me down part of my past in this "Christianity Today" article about the work in Gaza.

I'm glad to have you with us. Have an awesome week! May God find us listening more attentively to His voice this week as I am,

Matthew 24:14

+ <L A S T  W E E K>< +

+ I had the formidable challenging of putting together a computer that would dual boot. A local friend promised his help, so you prayed with me that he'd have ears to hear and eyes to see... is someone under conviction! My presence is being avoided, so I believe something's going on in his heart. Continue praying!

+ You prayed for Shirin and Jasmine as they put away school supplies and organized Jasmine's room to be more like a six-year-old's room... Shirin writes, "Thank you for your prayers. We had a wonderful time celebrating all of Jasmine's accomplishments throughout the year of kindergarten. We are making progress on Jasmine's room, but it is moving slowly."

+ Jasmine asked that you begin praying for her YMCA Fun Camp beginning in July, especially that she would make a lot of friends so she could tell them about Jesus... this little girl is awfully excited about camp, and she says she misses you a lot.

<>< Your ongoing intercession for the development of the International Prayer Center of Jerusalem is greatly appreciated and needed each week. I'm finishing setting up a computer in order to set up another one (long story) and would appreciate the prayer to finish well while not being distracted by the computer to do the main thing.

<>< Shirin, Jasmine, and a co-worker will be going to the Lazarus Home for Girls. Please pray with them as they do a craft with the girls as well as share God's love with them.

<>< Jasmine and Shirin have been invited to dinner in the Old City by a lady who is interested in God's message. Please pray with us that the lady will clearly hear the message and make a positive step in accepting Jesus.

>< Pray for a church planting movement among the Jains.>

CALENDAR UPDATES

<If you're not receiving our bimonthly snail-mail newsletter, let us know so we can send it to you!><

15, Pray for Jasmine as she shares Jesus with the children in the building.

* Her friends know she will tell the truth.

16, Safe food

* An ongoing need, today was a good day.

17, Pray for Khalid’s salvation.

* Not yet :-(

18, Safety in traveling to work and school

* I thought today would be Jasmine's final day of school, but she finished earlier in the week. Travels to and from the Prayer Center were without incident. Thanks for praying to make a difference!

19, Ask God to give us another 18 years of joy.

* Jasmine surprised us with hand made anniversary cards covered with Barbie bridal stickers, pointing out she wants to be a bride like her mommy was and to have a husband like her daddy. She then asked if she could take us to lunch and if I'd pay in case she didn't have enough from her allowance. All of that pales in comparison to the history of the day we married <g>.

20-21, Ask God to prepare the ladies in the Old City to receive His Word.

* Shirin writes, "Thank you for praying. The ladies that regularly attend the meetings are showing signs of spiritual growth."
