As some of you know, today is a very special day for me :-)

It was twenty-one years ago on this day when I surrendered my life to Jesus and, yes, I'll always remember that chilly, rainy Friday night during my first year of college. I was at Ferrum College  where I had hoped to become a walk-on placekicker for the football team. God, however, sent me to Ferrum so I could meet Kevin, the young man who would tell me about Jesus and His desire to see the gospel taken all over the world.

The rest, as you might imagine, is a long story :-)

Amazing... last time I asked about finding how to get in touch with "Holy Land Tours," and one of you pointed me in the right direction. I was a bit saddened, however, by the (yawn) lack of enthusiasm of one particular "SBC" led group to want to get in touch with one of us (sigh). I suppose there will be others and (perhaps) our presence won't destroy the picturesque idealism of a tour.

I've made some improvements, er, changes to the Wednesday Weekly website and would certainly welcome your feedback, especially if you could help me make the site look and navigate better.

Oh, how I wish I could be there this summer!

I'm glad to have you with us. Have an awesome week! May God find us listening more attentively to His voice this week as I am,

Yours because His,

+ You asked God to use the most recent set of volunteers for His glory as they did "whatever it took"... what a difference they made to the Prayer Garden! God used them mightily, and we're grateful for your intercession.

+ You joined me in praying for a productive time away from home... I certainly picked up a great deal more confidence when dealing with security personnel and was able to exercise that on the way home. My watch got zapped going through an x-ray machine and, hopefully, I'll be compensated for it.

+ Shirin and Jasmine visited the Lazarus Home for Girls a few weeks ago to help some girls with English and cross stitching. You prayed with them that they would use all opportunities to share how God is making a difference in their lives... Shirin writes, "Thank you for praying, we were able to talk about prayer and how we can have a relationship with God."

<>< It's time to take care of the car SB have allowed us to use, and I'm asking to be used to share His message with those helping with the car.

<>< Continue praying for Shirin and Jasmine as they work together on lessons from school. May they find His solitude.

<>< Pray for local believers to have a worshipful day Sunday:
"On Palm Sunday, March 20, 2005, the local community of Bethlehem area, joined by international visitors will march from Bethlehem to Jerusalem celebrating Palm Sunday.
Since 1990, Palestinian Christians (and Muslims) are prohibited from entering Jerusalem which deprives them the basic right to worship in the Holy City.
It is expected that the procession will be intercepted by the Israeli army, at the military checkpoint between Bethlehem and Jerusalem.
The procession will attempt to go through the checkpoint despite the interception. Marchers will walk with donkeys and carry palm branches resembling the entry of Jesus to the Holy City 2000 years ago.
Marchers will carry signs calling for freedom of worship, demanding free access to Jerusalem, and stop land confiscation and wall constructions.
Gathering will be at the Nativity Square at 11:30 after Sunday services, and then the procession will go through the city of Bethlehem to the northern entrance of the city."

>< Pray for the two dozen people groups of the Mekong.>
