This seems to happen about every three or four months, so I've been 'expecting' it. When I took Jasmine to a local playground after school two grade school boys about 8 or 9 years of age tried to convert me to Islam. They were well versed and handle my 'objections' remarkably well. Now these weren't boys going to any special school, mind you. They were just regular children who also liked the Power Rangers. I don't know if my Arabic is at a 3rd grade level or if it's my adult grasp of biblical truth, but I was led to wonder how many Southern Baptist children could (or would) proclaim their faith on the playground, especially to the dad of someone playing among them.

+ You continued praying with me to see the Prayer Center bring honor and glory to God as people are given the opportunity to pray for the unreached people groups of the world... once again, I have received an "unusual" amount of e-mail regarding getting things "off the ground." I believe such an interest will provide us the ability to be what God has asked us to be: a catalyst to enlist the final advocates for the last of the world's unreached people groups!

+ Last week there was a ladies meeting in the Old City, and you joined us in praying that more women would attend the meeting... Shirin writes, "Thank you for praying. We did not see an increase in attendance, but we did have a good discussion about the Trinity. We also had time to watch a video that gave a good explanation about the Trinity for people that do not have a Church background."

+ Sometime last weekend a group of believers were on an outreach to invite women and children to an Easter party where they would hear a clear presentation of the gospel. You prayed for safety, wisdom and words for the outreach team. You also prayed that women would accept gifts of the gospel of Luke and other materials as well as come to the party... Shirin writes, "Thank you for your prayers. We could feel His protection. Two other ladies and I visited women and their families in the Old City. We were able to invite many ladies and children to the Easter party this week. One lady said for some reason she knew we were coming to see her today. She was so happy to see us and so open to receive books and children stories about Jesus."

+ You prayed for Jasmine as she returned to school, and you asked God to give her an even stronger desire to learn what a kindergartener needs to learn... Your prayers are being heard. Jasmine started back to school with great excitement. She is always asking when will she be going back to school so she can play with her friends. This week Jasmine received her home schooling material for first grade and is very motivated to finish kindergarten in order to start using her new books.

<>< Shirin's sister will be visiting with us later this week. Ask God to give her a safe, uneventful flight. Above all, pray that she would become a follower of Jesus while she's with us.

<>< I feel inundated with numerous unfinished projects, wanting to finish each one and could use your intercession to "get through it" while not missing *any* opportunity to clarify things for Shirin's sister.

<>< Join us in praying over Jasmine's only child syndrome and the influence she's receiving from local school children in terms of "speaking properly to adults."

<>< Please pray for the Easter party on Thursday afternoon. The party is for non-Christians and the gospel will be shared. We are asking God to open the hearts of the women and children to the gospel message. We also ask for protection from the evil one who is always trying to take God's message and distort it.

><Pray for South Asian families.>
