I failed to ask your intercession over what I thought would be a simple TB test. Thanks to a like minded co-worker, the three of us found a local clinic on Monday and returned for a reading two days later. Jasmine and I came out as positive (?) while Shirin was okay. Jasmine and I then had to have chest x-rays but had to return another day for medical consultation. I'll spare you the annoying details of what has become for the past few weeks a "typical day" (two steps forward, one step back). Maybe I should start walking backward. Since we always need "one more" person to pray for us, please feel free to recommend the 'Wednesday Weekly' to other like-minded intercessors in your circle of friends. + <L A S T W E E K>< ++ I was to be helping a co-worker with annoying computer needs and would be away from Shirin and Jasmine for about 24 hours, so you prayed that the computer needs of our co-worker would be met and that Shirin and Jasmine would have a great learning time together... most of the computer needs were met, and we would've met them all had the second desktop been repaired as the vendor said it had been. Shirin and Jasmine did have a great learning time together, and we thank you for your pointed intercession! + You continued praying for serenity as we moved into the last few weeks before leaving for a short assignment in the US... wow, are we ever grateful for your prayers! I'm afraid to think how things would be without your intercession. + You began praying for the group of 4-6 people coming to the Prayer Center at the end of the month to receive His vision and heart for the peoples of the land and for the world... time will tell, but I believe they will be moved by Him.
<T H I S W E E K><<>< Jasmine begins the celebration of her 5th birthday with a school party in her honor. Pray that her teachers and friends would learn about Jesus. <>< Continue praying for the group coming to visit the Prayer Center to be open to His vision and focus for its work. <>< Continue to pray for a group of new believers from the majority community who have started meeting together for fellowship twice a month. We learned about this meeting from a new believer who attended the meeting last week. She explained to us how excited she was to know that other followers of Christ are dealing with some of the same struggles she does. Pray that God will protect all attendees, since every time they meet they are putting their lives and family reputation at risk. Join us in praying also that when we return in August that the group will become a house church and that more groups will start from this one.
