The three of us enjoyed a day of baseball Saturday as the Reds finished Friday's rain delayed game, but who would have thought extra innings? It seemed neither team wanted to win, but the Reds finally decided to win it in the 13th; naturally, the 1:15 game was delayed, and we left before the bottom fell out in the top of the 9th with Houston taking it 8-0.

On the 300-mile drive back to West Virginia we heard the 2004 Preschool "Rickshaw Rally" VBS CD (again) plus we enjoyed "He Reigns" from the Newsboys "Adoration" CD. I think that song will become the official song of the International Prayer Center of Jerusalem! I hope to post the lyrics here some day for those who can't find them online.

I took up the hobby of coin collecting back in 2001 and quickly caught up with the US State Quarters. This time, however, I've encountered difficulty in finding Denver minted coins of Illinois, Alabama, Missouri, Michigan, Florida, and Texas. Next time I see you, we can swap quarters <g>.

Since we always need "one more" person to pray for us, please feel free to recommend the 'Wednesday Weekly' to other like-minded intercessors in your circle of friends. Invite them either to send an e-mail or to subscribe at our website.

I'm glad to have you with us. Have an awesome week! May God find us listening more attentively to His voice this week as I am,

Yours because His,

Scott

+ Last week we had the joy and privilege of sharing with a group that worked with us in Gaza, and we asked that you would pray that they would hear His call to join us in Jerusalem... several said they were ready to go, and I'm ready to meet them at the airport!

+ You prayed, too, that our reunions with friends in this area would be encouraging and mutually uplifting. The three of us were being blessed right out of our socks, and we wanted to *be* a blessing, too... well, I'm not sure we turned out to be the blessing we'd hope; however, Jasmine did receive a lesson in gratitude and thankfulness :*-)

+ You asked God to give us travel mercies as we headed to a weekend baseball game Jasmine had been looking forward to for an awfully long time... God answered your prayers as we traveled safely in the midst of a torrential downpour along the Ohio River.

+ You joined us in rejoicing over finding Jasmine's long awaited toy banjo!

+ You prayed that God would give us travel mercies as we headed back to Virginia (this time in daylight)... our third day of 300-mile journeys found more rain and a safe arrival. I would remind Jasmine of how many people were praying for us, and both of us felt better : -)

+ You asked God to bless and use the innkeeper and his family who gave of their resources to take care of our stay in southern West Virginia... I'm sure he and his family are reaping the benefits of your intercession as we benefited from their generosity! Thank you for praying for them.

+ As we celebrated the birthday of one of our "key intercessors," we wanted to use the time to strengthen the fellowship between our families... and did we ever! Four hours of a "Chuck E. Cheese" like environment brought Jasmine and their daughters together plus it gave the four of us time to chat. Thank you for praying.

<>< As we continue sorting through items in need of being returned to storage, ask God to grant us His peace of mind. (Remember the last time the moving van pulled up in your driveway? We've been living like that since early June <g>.)

<>< I'm looking forward to time with those who make the bi-monthly newsletter possible, especially in helping them catch on to an e-mail encryption program. Pray that I'm able to do this.

<>< Ask God to be glorified in the time we'll have with our "newly adopted family" as we have a time of sharing.

<>< Pray that Saturday's prayer breakfast be a time when prayer for the International Prayer Center of Jerusalem and the unreached people groups of the world can be offered along with mutual prayer for those attending.

<>< Pray with us that we communicate clearly the needs of unreached people groups as we share our presentation once again.

* I am unable to stay online long enough to retrieve a new people group; however, once that changes, your specific intercession will be much needed!
