What a delight this past week has been as we've seen and felt the impact of your intercession! As of this writing (Tuesday) God has given us almost a hundred new prayer partners, and we anticipate "breaking" that number as we share with at least two more groups before we head back to Jerusalem.

While we're looking forward to getting back, we still see how much there is left to do here. The needs are incredible everywhere we go, and it's been a delight to work alongside many of you. It seems that everywhere we've stayed could be a place to invest all of our next Stateside Assignment (STAS). Please know that you and your work are in our hearts and we will pray for you as God brings you to mind.

Along other lines, when I can get an Internet connection, it's dial-up. I can only receive e-mail through that account and must use our Hotmail account to send e-mail. Well, you can imagine the frustration I encountered when someone on a high-speed connection forwarded a huge e-mail and/or pictures I didn't ask for (sigh). Yes, "Receiving message 14 of 31..." stayed forever : -( Remember to be considerate of others when forwarding e-mail and pictures.

Since we always need "one more" person to pray for us, please feel free to recommend the 'Wednesday Weekly' to other like-minded intercessors in your circle of friends. Invite them either to send an e-mail or to subscribe at our website.

I'm glad to have you with us. Have an awesome week! May God find us listening more attentively to His voice this week as I am,

Yours because His,

Scott

+ You continued praying for Jasmine as her leg healed, asking God to bring about complete healing... we saw the healing right before our eyes this past week and thanked God for you!

+ You prayed with us that the campers would stay safe and find out more about God's call on their lives... as I typed this, Jasmine was screaming in pain over scraped knees :-( Other campers stayed safe, and we thank you for praying. They also had ample opportunity to find out about His call on their lives, and we were privileged to be a part of that. Again, thank you for praying!

+ You joined us in asking God for more traveling mercies as we continued our journey to another part of West Virginia last week... the drive south was absolutely gorgeous and, yes, God gave us new mercies as we drove. The scenic drive was in the daylight this time, and Jasmine soaked in the beautiful scenery. What a joy to hear those slow, awe inspiring "Woooow"s

+ You asked God to use us in sharing His work around the world while we were with two groups last weekend... an unexpected opportunity to deliver two Sunday morning messages arose and, prayerfully, folks were encouraged to carry the message to Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria, and the uttermost parts of the world as they heard about Philip and the Ethiopian eunuch.

+ As Jasmine went through Vacation Bible School (VBS) last week, you prayed that she would receive new insights... well, we had hoped she would have attended VBS but, unfortunately, I think her time at camp saturated her <g>.

<>< Tonight we have the joy and privilege of sharing with a group that worked with us in Gaza, and we're asking that you would pray that they would hear His call to join us in Jerusalem.

<>< Pray, too, that our reunions with friends in this area would be encouraging and mutually uplifting. The three of us are being blessed right out of our socks, and we want to be a blessing, too.

<>< Ask God to give us travel mercies as we head to a weekend baseball game. Jasmine has been looking forward to this for an awfully long time!

<>< Join us in rejoicing over finding Jasmine's long awaited toy banjo!

<>< Pray that God would give us travel mercies as we head back to Virginia (this time in daylight).

<>< Ask God to bless and use the innkeeper and his family who gave of their resources to take care of our stay.

<>< As we celebrate the birthday of one of our "key intercessors," may we use the time to strengthen the fellowship between our families.

* I am unable to stay online long enough to retrieve a new people group; however, once that changes, your specific intercession will be much needed!
