Another welcome to April with local gas prices going from a March price of $4.90/gallon to $5.23/gallon with prices going higher as the US dollar grows weaker. Oh, well, I suppose it could be worse.

Speaking of which, someone tried to tell me Disney had "repented" after a long SBC boycott. The facts, however, speak differently: Disney to allow same-sex ceremonies. 

There is good news, of course, so let's go out and share it.

+ Scott asked prayer for the 'finishing touches' to be made before the strategic arrival of about six intercessors... the entry way to the Upper Prayer Room looks a lot different and better now that a fresh coat of paint and a glorious red runner have been added. Other 'finishing touches' were made and your intercession made a big difference once again! Thank you!

+ You continued to join us in praying for final preparation for the volunteer group coming to the Prayer Center. We continue to anticipate wonderful things as the group comes in a few days to pray for workers here and the people they serve... Shirin writes, "Thank you for your prayers. We had a wonderful planning session and were able to work out most of the details for the volunteer group."

+ Jasmine asked that you pray for the safety of her classmates while they're away from school...she says, "I don't know if they've been safe, but I will when I see them at school today. Thank you for praying for them."
