Those of you who've been with us for a long time are aware of my desire to stay healthy, especially by one day reaching my 'perfect' weight of 183lbs or 83kg. About five months ago I was slightly under 230 (104kg). After being more faithful to the "Fit for Life" formula of only fresh fruit or fresh fruit juice before noon and nothing after 5pm, I'm at a bit less than 214 (97kg). I've also been walking about 4 miles a day since my November 2 birthday; however, due to 'stuff' I manage about two days out of every three.

Anyway, I've been at this 214/97kg plateau for about six weeks. Google is my friend, so I did a "weight loss plateau" search and, wow, were there some good tips! Since this has been a lifestyle change, my commitment to honor His temple will keep me going. Temporary efforts yield temporary results.

+ Scott asked for wisdom and guidance from On High as he worked through helping with the planning of two big events in the coming weeks... wow, I don't know what this week would have been like had it not been for your intercession! I'm still in need of that Heavenly wisdom and guidance, so please continue. A result of both events is a lot of help for colleagues!

+ You joined Shirin in praying for the visits she would make last week. You prayed that positive responses toward God's message would be taken by the women with whom she shared... Shirin writes, "Thank you for your prayers. I was able to pray in one visit and give out some Christian material in another visit."

+ Jasmine asked prayer for doing a good job at school with her upcoming "Mothers' Day" song... Jasmine says her friends have been learning a little bit each time during music, and she's been able to do a good job thanks to your intercession!

<>< Shirin and a co-worker have been meeting with two deaf ladies. Join them in praying that the ladies will bring their friends this week to do a craft project together. Please pray also that this will be the beginning of a deaf ladies group for the purpose of sharing Bible stories with them.
